Course Description:

The course is a supportive field study aimed at helping students understand pedagogical problems and iteratively propose and try out solutions to these. This is done in a collaborative environment with peers and mentors who work together as a professional community. Emphasis is given using the Lesson Study (Lewis, 2002) cycle as a means to pursue improvements. As a supportive field study, it is meant to prepare the individual student to take on individual challenges required practicum and research.
