This course provides comprehensive topics on research methodologies and techniques relevant to Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering and related researches. It equips students with the knowledge and skills to systematically investigate engineering problems and innovations through scientific inquiry. Emphasis is placed on formulating research problems and objectives, developing comprehensive literature review and conceptual & theoretical frameworks, and designing experiments & data collection method. Students will also gain understanding of ethical research practices, research integrity, responsible use of AI in research, and technical writing techniques in preparation for their thesis.
