This course will enable the student to develop a better understanding of the basic principles and techniques 
involved in industrial robotics. This also enables the students to give emphasis on industrial robot 
applications, analysis of robot manipulators, components of industrial robots, robot programming, and 
advantages of various control systems by using analytical tools that enhance creativity and innovativeness 
to improve processes and systems that meet the industry standards. The students will be able to apply 
techniques and technology tools to meet current industry needs in robotics and servo systems to improve 
and increase entrepreneurial activities upholding the safety and health standards of business and industry.  
The students will also develop skills in leading a team-based environment by acting & delegating 
responsibility and inspiring positive changes in the organization by exercising accountability in the practice of 
one’s profession. Students will analyze robot manipulators, components, programming, and control systems 
for process improvement, fostering innovation (SDG 9).
