This course equips students with the knowledge and practical skills to explore, analyze, and document emerging technology trends by leveraging global patent databases and intellectual property (IP) tools. Students will learn how to conduct comprehensive patent searches to identify state-of-the-art innovations, use patent analytics to uncover technology landscapes and innovation gaps, and develop the ability to draft patent claims and specifications for novel concepts that ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote life-long learning opportunities for all.
