The course provide with important concepts of the methods of research covering the design, data collection, statistical application, and development of research instrument. This also requires the students to prepare a research proposal which includes the introduction, significance of the research, methodology and the timeline of the study. The proposal will serve as a basis for Technology Research II The course is a collaborative group study that provides pre-service teachers the learning experiences in conceptualizing, implementing, presenting and defending their own scientific work within the field of teaching & learning in the basic education setting. It is also designed to be an avenue for pre-service teachers to apply pedagogical ideas based on theories and principles learned, as a means of showing a cumulative mastery of the competencies in the Teacher Education curriculum.
