The course introduces the concept of basic occupational safety and health underlying principles and practices. Furthermore, the determination of existing and potential safety and health hazards as well as identifying and mitigating measures as far as health, welfare and safety in the work place is concern.

This course explores the Philippine legal landscape governing public lands and natural resources. By analyzing the historical evolution and contemporary frameworks of land classification, indigenous rights, and resource extraction (mining, forestry, and fisheries), students develop a holistic perspective on sustainable development. This foundation equips future Geodetic Engineers with the legal literacy necessary to navigate the complexities of resource management and national patrimony within the Philippine context.
