This course focuses on training students to become teachers of literacy and numeracy skills to school children, out-of-school youth, and other segments of society in need of such services.
Through classroom instruction, fieldwork, and community engagement, students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to contribute to national development by promoting education and social responsibility.
The course also fosters patriotism, volunteerism, and leadership.
