The Republic Act 9520 or the Cooperative Code of the Philippines serves as a valuable guide for explaining how cooperatives are organized and governed.
Further the course gives the students a basic explanation on how cooperatives are managed. Chiefly it focuses on the essential aspects of operations, financial, human, and marketing management. The subject also provides the students to study and conduct case analysis of actual cooperatives in nearby areas.
