This course aims to prepare students to explore and demonstrate expertise in a wide array of composting methods for the production of organic fertilizer products. The students should practice professional and ethical safety and standards that conform to OSHS and agricultural safety guidelines. This course allows students to work in collaboration and improve the learning experience including the processing of plant or animal residues, utilization of recyclable organic materials, recommended composting techniques, soil enrichment, and the impact of organic agriculture on sustainable farming and society. Engage in continual development to enhance knowledge and develop one’s competence in the field of organic fertilizer production.
