This course focuses on the theories and principles of designing ELT materials: selecting, adapting, developing and evaluating materials. It explores different models of instructional design in context to language teaching. It provides an opportunity for students to examine, evaluate instructional materials and to conduct needs analysis for the target learners on the appropriate instructional materials that tailor-fit to their own level of interest.
