This course provides a general overview on data analysis under descriptive and inferential statistics and its importance in the field of information technology, computer science and research. Topics include population and sampling, measures of location and variability, graphical representation of data, normal curve, and tests of relationship and difference between means. This course also introduces validity, reliability and item analysis of tests and other research instruments related to computing.
This course covers essential foundation in advanced mathematics, which includes powerful tools that can be applied in every area of pure and applied mathematics. Topics include matrices, determinants, vectors and vector spaces, linear transformations and cryptography, eigenvectors and introduction to calculus.
