This course provides an integrated study of the hydrologic cycle and climatic elements, with emphasis on their interactions and implications for water resources. It covers streamflow hydrographs, evaporation and evapotranspiration, groundwater, hydrograph and runoff analysis, and the statistical treatment of hydrologic data. The course also introduces the principles, operation, and application of hydrometeorological instruments for the measurement and analysis of weather and hydrologic variables. Emphasis is placed on the practical application of hydrometeorological concepts, data, and instruments in support of sustainable water resource management and agricultural production.
