This course provides the students with the core concepts of chemistry that are important in the practice of the engineering profession. It also focuses on the general application of chemical principles to the analysis of engineering problems in addressing sustainable management of environmental systems. A fundamental laboratory course designed to relate and apply the principles and theories in chemistry to engineering practices. It is a combination of experimental and calculation laboratory.
